Can I join the Race in the middle of the year?

Yes! You can start making predictions and join the Race at any time during the year. However, since the Race ranking is based on Obbvio Prediction Score (OPS), new players may initially have a lower ranking because their Statistical Significance (S(T)) starts low. As they make more predictions, their score stabilizes, and they have the opportunity to climb the leaderboard. Since the Race resets every January 1st, all players start fresh at the beginning of each year.
